Chandigarh, May 15, 2015: The Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, has said that the state government had received many complaints from people regarding the licenses granted by the previous government in Sector 83, Gurgaon. The one-man commission, set up to go into them, will submit its report not later than six months from the date of its first sitting.
The Chief Minister was interacting with media persons after the ‘Pradesh Karyakarini Samiti’ meeting held in Kurukshetra, today.
Answering a question, he said that licenses had been granted for 18-19 plots in Sector 83, Gurgaon, and those who got them included five big groups.
Asked about the digging work on Saraswati River, he said the river has historical and cultural importance for the state. Even its path of flow has been detected by the satellite. That’s why Saraswati Development Board has been constituted so that the stream flows.
Asked about the outcome of the meeting, the Chief Minister said that information on six months’ achievements of the state government was given. The number of party members would be increased in future by running ‘Mahasampark Abhiyan’. Over 32 lakh members have already been enrolled in first phase, he added./ (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
