Chandigarh, May 13, 2015: Haryana Minister of State for Transport, Karan Dev Kamboj said that soon repair work of 28 roads of Indri constituency would be carried out at a cost of Rs 18 crore.
Kamboj said that the Chief Minister, Manohar Lal has given approval for repair of these roads. He said that about 52 kilometers long roads would be renovated which include 8 main and 20 link roads. About 10.42 crore would be spent on 8 main roads of the town whereas remaining amount would be spent on 20 link roads.
The Minister said that in these roads, special renovation of about 11 kilometer long road of Indri-Gadhi-Birbal would be done and a sum of over Rs 6.37 crore would be spent on it. Similarly, about Rs 88.39 lakh would be spent on renovation of Muradgarh to Fazilpur road, Rs 36.53 lakh on renovation of Ghisarpuri road, Rs 77.95 lakh on renovation of Khapur to Budanpur road and over rs 1.31 crore on renovation of Fazilpur to Shahpur road.
Kamboj said that about 7.50 crore would be spent on 20 link roads of Indri constituency. Among these, Badarpur to Halwana, Garpur Tapu, Chadron, Rajepur and roads leading to Gandhinagar are prominent. No renovation has been done on these roads for the last 15 years due to which people have to face many problems, he added. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
