British government should apologise and reveal all details about attack on Golden Temple-Sukhbir Badal

Varhe/Akkanwali (Mansa), Februay 6, 2014: Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today describing the advisory sought by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi from British Government in 1984 for attack on Golden Temple ‘very unfortunate’ and said British Government should not only tender an apology on the issue but too reveal all the details of communique between both the governments.
Expressing shock over the revelations of conversations between British and the then Indira Gandhi government, Badal said Congress Government in connivance with its foreign counterparts conducted attack on the highly sacred shrine of Sikhs in 1984, which exposed its intentions and deliberations towards Punjab. He said Congress at Center always stand by its attitude of animosity against Punjab, for which the people of Punjab would not spare it at any cost.
When asked that should British Government tender any apology over communiques between duo governments, Deputy CM said not only apology but revelations of all details and facts should also be made public. He said it was well-planned exercise of Congress Government and the disclosure of more details could bring the truth behind this gravest operation against Sikhs.
Reiterating commitment of Shiromani Akali Dal to get justice for the victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots, Badal said the SAD would fight continuously until the delivery of justice despite the hurdles being created by Congress government at Center. He said “we will continue our fight against the culprits and accused responsible for the massacre of Sikhs in 1984 till our last breath.”
Answering an query regarding possibilities of formation of third front at Center, Badal rubbishing all possibilities of such coalition at center said there would be no political survival of country without NDA and it is certain that NDA under Narendra Modi leadership would form the next government at Center. Extending humble appeal to the electorates to purge the Congress led UPA government in interests of country saying that ‘India cannot survive without NDA’ as Congress has been day and night busy in looting country’s assets for the last 10 years.
Earlier addressing massive public rallies and Sangat Darshan programs at Varhe and Akkanwali villages here Badal said time has come to get countrymen free from ‘worst disease of our political system-Congress Party’, which has given nothing but the scams, corruption, inflation, unemployment and poverty following its traditional ‘divide and rule’ policy. He exhorted electorates to get the flag of NDA unfurled in Delhi only once then they would observe phenomenal development all around. "We cannot witness progress, prosperity, growth and development without conquering Delhi by drubbing Congress in coming Lok Sabha polls", he asserted.
Meanwhile, Bathinda Member Parliament Harsimrat Kaur Badal today sought high level probe in the entire issue of getting advisory from British Government by the then Indira Gandhi Government before launching attack on top Sikh shrine. She said that the revelations of communique bared the anti-Punjab and anti-Sikh face of Congress.
Badal said the SAD Member Parliaments would move ‘Adjournment Motion’ on Thursday i.e. February 7 at both houses of parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, against the attitude adopted by Congress against Punjab besides raking up the demand of high level probe into the entire issue.
Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal presided over Sangat Darshan programs at various villages including Varhe, Akkanwali, Maghanian, Dharampura, Khudal Kalan, Bahadurpur, Dariyapur Kalan, Budhlada where Panchayats of total 27 villages participated and get their issues resolve on the spot. Mr. Badal also distributed set of heavy utensils for public usage in villages and Sports Kits in villages.
Badal also dedicated Sub Divisional Complex at Budhlada to the public constructed at the cost of Rs. 4 crore besides laying foundation stone of Government Degree College, Bahadurpur-Bareta at the cost of Rs. 15 crore. Badal also laid the foundation stone of world class PUDA Colony to be constructed at the cost of Rs. 55 crore. Badal also laid the foundation stone of covering Sewage Nullah at Budhlada at the cost of Rs.42 lakh besides inaugurating Baba Mota Singh Memorial Gate at village Dharampura.
