Whereas in Punjab it is Rs.2 lakh for those selected through merit and Rs.6 lakh for others as per notification of Punjab Govt. (NO.5/3/2010-3HB-III/4397 dated July 30, 2013). The members of the association have requested the Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh that the fee structure should be made at par with Punjab. The members of association also want to bring into the kind notice of the Chief Minister that the State Medical Council had become a defunct body from last so many years and is not able to monitor the ethics of medical profession and there is no check on the quacks in the state of Himachal Pradesh and the people of state are paying the price as there is no check on the quackery done by untrained people, private practitioner and government officials. The election of the State Medical Council was not conducted by the Director Medical Education, who is also the president of the State Medical Council from last so many years.// dharamsala news update, dharamsala information, dharamsala news, himachal news online, himachal news kangra, himachal news in english, himachal news today, himachal news, india news, world news,
