Amritsar/Jalandhar, September 17, 2013: Punjab State BJP General Secretary and in charge of the central constituency Tarun Chugh today celebrated 64th birthday of Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at his residence with a unique style.
On this occasion, as many as 250 BJP workers were gathered his residence at Kt. Moti Ram to celebrate Modi’s birthday.
Chugh and his supporters used their blood to put `tilak’ on forehead of photograph of Narendra Modi. Addressing the party workers he said that he had been celebrating Modi’s birthday for many years but this one was very special for all of them in view of the forthcoming general elections next year.
“By celebrating the Modi’s birthday in this manner we want to give massage to people of the country that we believe that Modi has become role model for youngsters and we think Modi is the only person who has ability to replace Congress-led UPA government at the Centre”, he said. The party workers were seen standing in the queue to follow Chugh.

BJP workers in the Central Assembly Constituency celebrated the birth anniversary of Narendera Modi with great pomp and show at Kaki Pind Ground, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar. Addressing the workers, BJP national executive member Manoranjan Kalia, MLA, said Modi had set an example for other states as far as development was concerned. He added Modi would be the ultimate choice for the post of PM in the coming parliamentary elections. He added the UPA government at the Centre had lost its credibility over the period after exposure of scams.
Among others, BJP Mandal No 4 President Arun Khurana former convener BJP State Media Cell Punjab Rajat Kumar Mohindru, Jalandhar Rural President Arun Sharma, S. Sood, Balbir Singh Bittu, Hardeep Singh, Sham Sharma, Ashish Chopra, Rajan Kalia, Mali Kaushal, Baljeet Singh, Gulshan Kumar, Dr Dinesh Sharma, Joginder Gulati, Gagandeep Singh, Bhupinder Sethi, Harish Arora, Amarjeet Kumar, Rajan Makkjar, Raja Thapar, Rajinder Kumar, Basant Kumar and Puneet Kumar were present.
