Chandigarh, July 19, 2015: Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has invited online applications to fill up 7,200 posts in Police Department.
While giving this information here on Saturday, a spokesman of the Commission said that online application can be filled up from September 7 to October 6,2015 and thereafter website link will be disabled. The last date for fee submission is October 9,2015.
He said that among the 5,000 posts of Male Constable of General Duty, 1,650 posts are of general category, 1,000 for Scheduled Castes(SC), 800 for Backward Classes A(BCA), 550 for Backward Classes B(BCB), 500 for Special Backward Classes(SBC) and 500 for Economically Backward Persons General(EBPG).He said that the minimum educational qualification for these posts is class XII for all categories. For general category, in physical standards, height should be 172cm and chest 83 cm and expanded to 87cm. For reserved categories, height should be 169 cm and chest 81cm and expanded to 85cm. The age of candidates should be between 18 and 25 years as on September 1,2015.
He said that among the 1,000 posts of Female Constable of General Duty, 330 posts are of general category, 200 for SC, 160 for BCA, 110 for BCB, 100 for SBC and 100 for EBPG. He said that the minimum educational qualification for this post is class 1 XII for all categories. For general category, in physical standards, height should be 160 cm and for reserved categories, height should be 157cm.The age of candidates should be between 18 and 25 years as on September 1,2015.
Among the 140 posts of Female Ex-serviceman Constable of General Duty, 70 posts are of general category, 20 for SC, 20 for BCA and 30 for BCB. The minimum educational qualification for this post is class XII for all categories. For general category, in physical standards, height should be 160cm and for reserved categories, height should be 157cm.The age of candidates should be between 18 and 25 years as on September 1,2015.
Out of the 860 posts of Male Ex-serviceman Constable of General Duty, 430 posts are of general category including 80 of Backlog, 123 for SC including 23 of backlog, 123 for BCA including 23 of backlog and 184 for BCB including 34 of backlog.The minimum educational qualification for this post is class XII for all categories. For general category, in physical standards, height should be 172cm and chest 83 cm and expanded to 87cm. For reserved categories, height should be 169 cm and chest should be 81 cm and expanded to 85 cm. The age of candidates should be between 18 and 25 years as on September 1,2015.
Among the 200 posts of Sub Inspector(Male), 52 posts are of general category, 36 for SC, 28 for BCA, 16 for BCB, 20 for SBC, 20 for EBPG, 14 for Ex- Serviceman(ESM) general category, 4 for ESM-SC, 4 for ESM-BCA and 6 for ESM -BCB .The minimum educational qualification for this post is graduation from a recognized university. For general category, in physical standards, height should be five feet eight inches and chest should be 33 inches with expansion of 1.5 inches. For the candidates belonging to ex- serviceman, SC, Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Backward Classes categories, relaxation in physical standard to the extent of one inch in height and one inch in chest measurement would be given. The age of candidates should be between 21 and 27 years.
He said that the candidates who had qualified for interview against these posts in advertisement No. 2/2013 would also be eligible against the re-advertised posts. The Government has decided to give one time relaxation in fee and age to the candidates who had qualified for interview against the advertisement No. 2/2013 issued by Haryana Police Recruitment Board in the earlier recruitment process and would have now crossed the maximum prescribed age limit to enable them to participate in the proposed recruitment process. Similarly, one time relaxation has also been accorded to them in height. However, such candidates would have to apply afresh alongwith proof of depositing the application fee. They are required to upload the e-Challan alongwith the fresh application form and would produce the original e-Challan at the time of interview or test or verification.
The government has also decided to give one time relaxation in age to
ex-constables of disbanded Haryana State Industrial Security Force (HSISF) to enable them to participate in the proposed recruitment process beside relaxation for qualifying the physical screening test standard equal to the standard prescribed for ex-servicemen candidates only during this proposed recruitment process. They are required to upload the discharge order issued by concerned appointing authority.
