Shimla, July 10, 2015: Governor Shri Kalyan Singh and Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh have expressed grief over private bus accident at Machhada bridge near Bhadrash in Rampur tehsil of Shimla district in which six persons lost their lives.
As per the reports reaching at State headquarter here today, the ill fated bus was on the way from Jhakri to Shimla in which 32 persons were travelling has rolled down about 200 feet while negotiating the curve today morning. Six persons were died on the spot and 25 passengers who sustained injuries had been admitted to Mahatma Gandhi Medical Service Complex, Khaneri, Rampur for treatment out of which four seriously injured had been referred to IGMC, Shimla.
Governor and Chief Minister prayed the Almighty to give peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. They also wished speedy recovery for the injured.
Chief Minister directed the district administration to provide immediate relief to the affected families.
Transport Minister Shri G.S. Bali and Chief Parliamentary Secretary Shri Nand Lal have also expressed grief over the bus accident.
