Chandigarh, July 8, 2015: Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today said that as most of the pensions in the state were being distributed through Aadhaar card, the level of transparency has enhanced and about 10 to 20 per cent ineligible beneficiaries have been checked. The funds thus saved would benefit the eligible beneficiaries, he added.

The Chief Minister, who was addressing the people in Karnal, urged the people to make the best use of information technology as Haryana has already ranked number five in an era of information technology, whereas it was at 21st place during last year.

He said that now the eligible beneficiaries of old age allowance scheme would not face any difficulty in getting benefit of the social security pension as those who are 60 years or above would be able to fill  up the new form supported by Aadhaar card. No such form would be accepted without the Aadhaar card. He also heard grievances of the people. He assured them that their grievances would be redressed on priority basis. He said that as the administration is being made more efficient, the pace of development has been accelerated. The state government is also taking steps to make the best of digital technology. The Haryana government has also started use of digital technology for e-disha, e-registration, CM Window, C-form and other 24 services.
