New Delhi, July 4, 2015: Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today disclosed that a centre of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) would be opened at Village Manethi in district Rewari for the expansion of health services in the State.
The Chief Minister, who was addressing a public meeting at Bawal in district Rewari also said that discussion is on with Punjab government on deadlock of Hansi-Bhutana link canal and it was on a positive note. If this deadlock is lifted, southern Haryana would not face any scarcity of water.
Union Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh was also present at the public meeting.
The Chief Minister also announced many development schemes for Rewari. These schemes included bypass to be constructed at a cost of Rs 500 crore, beginning of basic classes from the new academic session at Bawal centre of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, new bus stand to be constructed at Banipur chowk located on NH-8 in Bawal, a Trauma Centre, multi-skill centre at village Dhamlawas for the improvement of vocational skills of youth. He also announced to give Rs 10 crore for construction of sheds at Anaj Mandi and undertake development works in rural areas and Rs 5 crore for urban development.
He also announced to approve of schemes of Rs 19 crore under which besides railway under bridge, 34 link roads of Bawal constituency would be constructed. The Chief Minister also announced to initiate project of Rs 85 crore for the construction of roads in Rewari and Rs 40 crore project for widening of NH-8 at Dharuhera. The Chief Minister also announced increase of power supply from 12 hours to 15 hours a day for areas under Ahrod feeder of Bawal constituency.
The Chief Minister said that with a view to overcome the old problem of drinking water and irrigation, a Rs 143 crore project with the support of NABARD has been approved by the state government for Rewari and Mahendragarh districts. He said that efforts would be made to initiate talks with Rajasthan government for finding solution to problem of bringing water in Masani Baraj on Sahbi river. A project would be undertaken to bring the extra water in to Yamuna river during rains in area of Masani Baraj through Jawahar Lal Nehru and Western Yamuna canal.
He said that for transparent governance every district has CM- Window , every tehsil has e-registration and services are being provided through common service centre at village level. With a view to improve administrative management, he assured the people that soon this would also be done at division and sub – division level. He said that every year he would tour every Vidhan Sabha constituency of the state.
The Haryana CM also clarified the viewpoint of state government on the issue of guest teachers saying that the government was following the directions of the court as this problem was because of the previous State government.
The Chief Minister who was addressing a public meeting at Bawal in district Rewari said the state government was making concerted efforts to improve the level of education.
He said that the present government is not visualizing for the next five years, but for the next 15 years. He said that soon recruitment procedure to fill 50,000 posts would be initiated and appropriate opportunity would be provided to teachers who have worked as guest teachers based on their capability. He also said that Rs 1,000 would be given to those guest teachers for two months who would take coaching for Teachers Eligibility Test./ (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
