Chandigarh, May 31, 2015, The Member Secretary, Haryana State Legal Services Authority (HALSA) disclosed that Rural Lok Adalats were held today at village Saha (Ambala), Kalyana (Naraingarh), Silani (Jhajjar), Bhainis Majra (Pehowa), Khandra (Panipat) and Girawar (Meham). In these Rural Lok Adalats 237 Cases were taken up and out of which 203 mutation cases were settled. Special Legal Literacy Camps/seminars were also organized in these villages on the occasion of World Anti-Tabacco Day & using of water i.e. (Jaladhikar Abhiyan).
The Member Secretary, HSLSA further disclosed that if any person is interested to get his/her case settled in the Lok Adalats, he/she may move an application to the concerned District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman or Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority in district or Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division)/Senior Most Civil Judge-cum-Chairman of Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee under whose jurisdiction the case falls. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
