Bangalore, May 29, 2015: Savaari, India’s largest car rental company with operations across 60 cities in the country has a launched first of its kind initiative where they offer “unlimited” & “one-way-outstation” travel plans at economical rates. In pursuit of breaking the stereotypes in the car rental industry, Savaari has chosen to break the norms of kilometer-based pricing for local travel and 2-way charging even for one-way-outstation trips.
The new offer provides unlimited kilometres packages for 8hrs/ 10 hrs/ 12hrs starting at Rs.1600 for local in-city usage in metro cities. On the outstation front, they provide one way outstation trip plans that break the barrier of the consumer paying for both way travel.
“In all such initiatives, our primary focus has always been to disrupt the existing market and provide customers with high quality services through extensive use of technology and innovation. Terminology like ‘point to point’, minimum kilometers per hour, hourly charges subject to an upper limit of kilometers etc have come into common usage because of previous practices. These are ambiguous and local service providers interpret them in their own way”, said Gaurav Aggarwal, Founder and CEO of Savaari Car Rentals.
“The market that Savaari is targeting is planned travel in the local and outstation space which is around 85% of the entire car rental market at a pan India level. This is a very different market space compared to the immediate need in the point-to-point space that is targeted by peer taxi services,” adds Gaurav Aggarwal.
Savaari clearly stands out among its peers with a network of 10000 plus cars and boasts of an experience of over 10 crore trip kms and 20 lakh trip hours to its credit.
