Chandigarh, May 23, 2015: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today said that it has been decided to conduct mapping of higher education institutions so that atleast one women college is opened in every area in the state. Also, women police stations would be setup in all district headquarters from Rakshabandhan.
The Chief Minister was speaking at a Vikas Rally in Jhajjar today.
He said that survey for construction of railway line from Farrukhnagar in district Gurgaon to Charkhi Dadri via Jhajjar has been approved. He also assured to start the construction work of the prestigious project of KMP Expressway in next three months and it would help in the development of Jhajjar.
The Chief Minister said that he was feeling contended with the achievements of one year of the Central government and six months of BJP government in Haryana. He said that the state government has understood the pain of farmers for the loss of crops due to untimely rains and hailstorms. He said that Haryana is the first state to give maximum compensation of Rs. 1092 crore. Distribution of this compensation would be finished by May 31. He said that during this period, if a farmer could not come to take the compensation, he could collect the cheque in the next 15 days from the tehsil office. He said that for the evaluation of loss, special girdawari was conducted in record time, but some complaints have also been received from some places and the matter is being investigated.
While referring to the demand raised by Haryana Agriculture Minister, Mr. Om Parkash Dhankhar for the development of district Jhajjar, the Chief Minister announced to give Rs. 100 crore for the augmentation of drinking water supply in the district. Besides he also assured implementation of projects related to improvement in power supply and to pursue the matter of getting sanction from Central government for setting up of proposed Sainik school at Matenhail, Jhajjar. He also announced Rs. 10 crore each for development of urban and rural areas in Bahadurgarh.
The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of Agriculture Minister for a 'Gauvansh Sanrakshan and Gausamvardhan' Act, 2015 which was appreciated throughout the country. He inaugurated building of government school in Khudan and building of ITI Khudan and ITIJahangirpur besides laying foundation stone of remodeling of Patauda minor from RD 0 to 69100. He also dedicated to the people of the area projects costing Rs 27 crore . These included increasing capacity of KCB drain, reconstruction of bridge.
While speaking on the issue of guest teachers, Education Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma said that soon in Haryana new schools would be opened, existing schools would be upgraded and along with this new posts would be sanctioned so that no JBT or B.Ed teacher remains unemployed. He appreciated the efforts of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi as a result of which 177 countries of the world would participate in the celebration of World Yoga Day on June 21.
Speaking on the Land Acquisition Ordinance, Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu said that in the six months regime of the BJP government not even one inch of land of farmers has been acquired whereas BJP government has released 3600 acres of land of Bawal’s farmers which was acquired by the previous government.
MLA Naresh Kaushal apprised the Chief Minister that in his last visit he had sanctioned Rs. 3.43 crore in order to solve the long standing problem of high tension wires in Bahadurgar and requested for sanction of additional Rs. 42 lakh for this purpose. Besides this, he also demanded the construction of bus-stand, north bypass, new park and drainage of sewerage, auto market.
On the occasion Agriculture Minister, Mr. Om Parkash Dhankhar said that the state government has initiated the drive against corruption in Haryana which would go a long way in checking corruption among officers and officials of government. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
