Chandigarh, May 17- Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today expressed his satisfaction over the functioning of the Central Government during its first year and said that direction given by it during this period has been well received by the people whereas even after 68 years of independence the public was feeling betrayed by the previous Governments.
The Chief Minister was interacting with media persons after the Saksharta Karyakram-2015 organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad at Tagore theatre here.
However, he added that although inbetween former Prime Minister Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee too served for a short tenure but because of short period his government could not implement things which they wanted. Now the task left incomplete by them would be completed under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi. He also congratulated the Central Government and Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi on the completion of one year of the government.
He said that new schemes would be implemented for the needy and the poor people. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
