Haryana State Vigilance Bureau registered five criminal cases from May 8-14

Chandigarh, May 17, 2015: Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has registered five criminal cases against various officers and officials on the basis of raids conducted from May 8 to May 14, 2015. He said that the Bureau had conducted five raids, in which one Gazetted officer, two non-gazetted officers and two other persons were caught red-handed while taking bribe. Separate cases under Prevention of Corruption Act have been registered against them in Bureau’s police station.
He said that Arun Kumar, Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Bawal in district Rewari was caught red-handed while taking bribe of Rs 1.50 lakh. Ramkesh, Godown Keeper of Haryana Warehousing Corporation, Lakhanmajara in district Rohtak was caught taking bribe of Rs 60,000. He said that Amit Nagpal, resident of Friend Colony, Jhajjar was caught taking bribe money of Rs 40,000 from resident of Rohtak, SDI Nirpen Goel and Vikas Kumar, Clerk, Health Department. Similarly, Vineet Singh Negi, LVO, Primary Land Development Bank, Ballabhgarh in district Faridabad was caught red-handed taking bribe of Rs 25,000.
The spokesman said that Mahender Singh resident of district Jind was caught while taking and giving bribe to Rajvir, foreman,   Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Narwana. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
