Haryana Transport Minister Ram Bilas Sharma called on Union Rail Minister Suresh Prabhu in New Delhi on Monday.
New Delhi, May 11, 2015: Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu today announced that all the four divisions of Haryana would be given four railway ambulances which would be connected to big hospitals so that the people injured through road accidents could be taken to hospitals as soon as possible. Also, a railway hospital would be setup in the State, he added.
The Union Railway Minister made this announcement in a meeting held with Haryana Transport Minister Ram Bilas Sharma at Rail Bhawan in New Delhi today. Ram Bilas Sharma urged the Union Minister to start a new railway line connecting Jaipur to Narnaul, Narnaul to Mahendergarh and Mahendergarh to Dadri.
Ram Bilas requested that a stoppage for express trains should be made at Satnali Railway Station which is an important railway station of Delhi-Bikaner railway line laid down before independence. It would facilitate the passengers belonging not only from Satnali region but from about 80 villages of Haryana and adjoining Rajasthan. Ram Bilas apprised the Union Minister that Satnali is a big town and Satnali railway station is located on Delhi-Bikaner railway track. The people residing in adjoining areas of Satnali have to go to Delhi and Rajasthan for acquiring education and pursuing business. But, the people have to face much difficulty because there is no stoppage for the train running between Delhi and Bikaner at this station.
The Union Railway Minister said that he would visit district Mahendergarh on the 1st week of June and would implement all the pending projects of the region related to railway. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
