Chandigarh, May 6, 2015: Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister, Kavita Jain said that the State Government is committed towards welfare and all round development of persons with disabilities.
Jain said this while discussing the interests of disabled persons with Commissioner Disabilities, Haryana, P.C. Yadav here today. On this occasion, discussion was also held on the demands of persons with disabilities of ‘Haryana Viklang Adhikar Sangathan’ protesting at Bhiwani.
Jain said that the genuine demands of the Sangathan and those which she can fulfill on her own would be fulfilled soon. Apart from this, the demands of cabinet level would be presented in the cabinet for approval and the demands of Central Government level would be recommended by the State Government.
She has appealed the persons with disabilities to call off their protest and assured that efforts would be made to fulfill their demands at the earliest.
