A felicitation ceremony being organised by Aggarwal Sabha, Chandigarh, for newly elected Aggarwal Samaj MLA's & Ministers from Haryana.
Chandigarh, March 19, 2015: Aggarwal Sabha, Chandigarh held a felicitation ceremony to honour the newly elected Cabinet Minister and MLAs’ from the Aggarwal Community at Aggarsen Bhawan located in Sec 30, Chandigarh. According to Prem Chand Gupta, President, Aggarwal Sabha, Chandigarh, “It is a matter of great pride for the Aggarwal Community that many members of the Samaj have been elected from different constituencies of Haryana. In fact, it gives me immense pleasure to say that Kavita Jain has been appointed as a Cabinet Minister and Deepal Mangla as Political Secretary to CM, Haryana.”
Those who were honoured included Kavita Jain, Cabinet Minister, Haryana Government, Ganshyam Saraf, MLA, Bhiwani, Umesh Aggarwal, MLA, Gurgaon, Vipul Goyal, MLA, Faridabad, Gyan Chand Gupta, MLA, Panchkula, Kamal Gupta, MLA, Hisar, Aseem Goyal, MLA, Ambala City. The event was attended by the Sabha’s Working Committee’s Office Bearers including the President & General Secretary and the Sabha’s members.
Sunil Gupta, General Secretary, Aggarwal Sabha, Chandigarh said, “The Minister and MLAs’ were given a memento, shawl and a photograph of Maharaja Aggarsen to recognise their achievement and contribution in further raising the esteem of the Aggarwal community.”
The programme started with an ‘Aarti’ of Maharaja Aggarsen at the well laid out ‘Darbar’ of Maharaja Aggarsen in the premises of Aggarsen Bhawan. The Aggarwal Samaj MLAs’ were also informed about the many socially beneficial initiatives taken by the Sabha on an ongoing basis. It is noteworthy that the Sabha has placed free ambulance service for the society, free computer education, scholarship for poor students, widow pension, financial aid for medical treatment and marriages of poor Aggarwal girls etc.
