The Best Marching Contingent Trophy for Republic Day Parade 2015 presented to The Sikh Regiment

Jalandhar, February 12, 2015: The prestigious Best Marching Contingent Trophy for Republic Day Parade 2015 was presented by, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, Chairman, Chief of Staff Committee to The Sikh Regiment and The Brigade of Guards for their splendid performance during the parade. The trophy on the behalf of Sikh Regiment was received by Brigadier KBK Keshab, Commandant, The Sikh Regimental Centre and Lieutenant Bikram Grewal, the Contingent Commander in the presence of Chief of Staff, Central Command and Colonel of The Sikh Regiment,  Lieutenant General GS Shergill.

 This glittering ceremony was soleminised in the office of Chairman Chief of Staff Committee and the occasion was graced by Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Chief of Army Staff and other dignitaries.  This facilitation and recognition has further elevated the Regiments repute and also lifted the morale of the Regiment to perform better in upcoming future endeavours.
