Jalandhar, November 27, 2014: The Punjab Regimental Centre Ramgarh Cantt (Jharkhand) will be organizing a recruitment rally at Ramgarh Cantt under Unit Headquarter Quota (UHQ) for Son of Servicemen/Son of Ex-Servicemen/Son of Widows/Son of War Widows and Brother of Serviceman for enrolment of Soldier Clerk on 01 Dec 2014 for candidates of all India & all classes and Soldier General Duty and Soldier Tradesmen on 04 Dec 2014 for Sikh, Dogra & other Indian castes candidates belonging to Punjab, J&K, HP, Haryana, Chandigarh (UT), UP & Rajasthan. However, for tradesman, all India all castes candidates will be considered. No recruitment will be carried out for open category.
For Soldier Clerk, candidate should have passed class 12th with minimum 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate. For Soldier General Duty, candidate should have passed class 10th with minimum 33% marks in each subject and 45% marks in aggregate. For Soldier Tradesman, candidate should have passed class 10th simple (Chef, Musician, Dresser, Steward & Washerman) and 8th pass (House Keeper, Mess Keeper).
Candidate should be between 17 ½ - 21 years of age for Soldier General Duty category and 17 ½ to 23 years for Soldier Clerk and soldier tradesmen category.
