New Delhi, December 24, 2013: National Rail Museum (NRM) is organising “The Annual Christmas Carnival” tomorrow i.e. on 25th December, 2013. The Museum will be decorated in the Christmas mood with a Christmas tree loaded with toys, stars and other attractive gifts. Magic show, puppet show and film show will be the main attractions apart from the popular toy train running in the museum. The visitors will also be able to enjoy the ride of the Royal Monorail of Patiala State. The vintage monorail is one of the very few engines running on its own steam.
There will be delicious snacks on offer such as popcorn, kulfi and other lip smacking treats. Visitors can enjoy toy train ride while sipping “Kulhad Chai (tea)”. The museum will remain open from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. Visitors can also stop by at The Souvenir Shop of the museum and can take home a wide variety of souvenirs, ranging from coffee mugs, station clocks, miniature engines and many more! For the occasion “Santa Clause” accessories will be an added attraction.
