HIMACHAL SPEAKER calls on LS Speaker

Dharamshala, January 22, 2013: Himachal Vidhan Sabha Speaker B. B. L. Butail called on Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar  in New Delhi, on Tuesday.

Butail discussed the parliamentary  procedures and rules
with the  Lok Sabha Speaker and  further stressed the need to strengthen parliamentary democracy by maintaining the decorum and dignity of the house .

Butail told the Lok Sabha Speaker about the high tradition of the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha ,which has resulted in utilisation of maximum time for the parliamentary work  and harmonious relation between all political leaders irrespective of party affiliation.  

Meira Kumar appreciated the traditions of the Himachal Vidhan Sabha and stressed the need to maintain it for healthy and fruitful discussions in the House.
