Ludhiana, January 17, 2013: A great resentment prevails among Trustees of All-India Shaheed Sukhdev Thapar Memorial Trust and others over the attitude of the Ludhiana Administration towards the martyr Sukhdev Thapar's ancestral house at Naughara Mohalla in Ludhiana.
To lodge their protest, the Trustees and others led by Ashok Thapar, staged a strong protest by observing black day outside the martyr’s house on January 16.
Protestors were bearing black ribbons on their mouths as a mark of protest. Now, the building of the house was getting damaged due to locking of the house for the last one year, he rued.
Among others, Sandeep Thapar, Roshan Lal, Suresh Luthra, Satish Budhiraja, Ashok Bhandari, Tribhuvan Thapar, Deepak Puri, Ramesh Shukla, Vishal Shukla and Som Nath Grover were present.
