Jalandhar, June 1, 2013: The Centre Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered four cases relating to murder of three persons, including Ziaul Haque, Deputy Superintendent of Police of Uttar Pradesh and two other persons, namely Nanhe Yadav and his brother Suresh Yadav, both of residents of District Pratapgarh (UP) in separate incidents on March 2 this year on the request of UP Government and after Notification by Govt of India.
CBI has taken of the investigation of these cases which were earlier registered by Uttar Pradesh.
This was stated by the spokesperson of the CBI today.
He said that Further investigation is continued U/s 173 (8) Cr.P.C. in the case.
He said that the public is reminded that the above findings are based on the investigation done by CBI and evidence collected by it. Under the Indian Law, the accused are presumed to be innocent till their guilt is finally established after a fair trial.
