Kurukshtera (Haryana) / Jalandhar, May 26, 2103: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has strongly condemned the tragic incident of ambush of a convoy of Congress leaders in forest area of Chhattisgarh in which a senior Congress leader was killed and many others including former Union Minister V. C. Shukla were injured.
The Chief Minister who was in Kurukshetra today to preside over a public meeting, observed a two minute silence alongwith the audience and the function was turned into a condolence meeting.
The Chief Minister said that Congress has a history of sacrifices for the unity and integrity of the country. He also conveyed his deepest sympathies with the families of those who have lost their lives.
Hooda also wished speedy recovery to those who have been injured in the dastardly attack.
The Chief Minister also postponed his programmes that were scheduled for the day.
