Shimla, August 17, 2015: Governor, Acharaya Devvrat and Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh mourned the death of seven persons who died in an accident near Dalash in Ani sub-division Kullu district today when a pick-up traveler, in which they were traveling rolled down the gorge.
The Governor in his condolence message expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family members and prayed for peace of the departed souls.
The Chief Minister, while expressing grief over the incident, directed the district administration to provide immediate relief to the next of the kin of the deceased.
He also prayed for the peace of the departed soul and strength to the family members of the deceased to bear the irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner, Kullu, Shri Rakesh Kanwar informed that a sum of Rs 25 thousand each has been provided as an immediate relief to the next of the kin of the deceased and Rs 10 thousand each to the injured. He said that the remaining amount would be disbursed as per the relief manual.
