Shimla, July 23, 2015: Governor Shri Kalyan Singh and Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh have mourned the death of five passengers in a tourist bus accident at Sarsari village on Manikaran-Bhuntar road in Kullu district, today. They have also wished speedy recovery to the injured tourists.
As per the last reports last received at State headquarter, 18 passengers sustained injuries in the accident and all have been shifted to regional hospital, Kullu for treatment. As per the reports, 29 persons were still missing and efforts were on to search for them on war-footings.
The Governor has expressed sympathies with the next to the kin of the deceased and prayed for the peace of the departed souls.
The Chief Minister said that he was pained over the tragic mishap. He expressed the condolences with the families who lost their near and dear ones in this accident.
The Chief Minister directed the district administration to intensify operation to search out for missing persons besides providing all possible assistance for their treatment.
