Significant rainfall recorded in Haryana

Chandigarh, July 11, 2015: In Haryana, heavy rain and thundershowers would occur at few places with very heavy rainfall at one or two places during next 48 hours. Intensity of rainfall would be more in district Rohtak, Bhiwani, Rewai, Jahjjar, Hisar, Sirsa, Palwal, Gurgaon, Mewat, Faridabad, Sonipat, Panchkula and Ambala.
While stating this here today, a official spokesman said that as per the report of Meteorological Department,rainfall will decrease in intensity and distribution after  about 48 hours and would occur at few places.
He said that significant rainfall has been recorded in Haryana today. He said that 15 cm rainfall each has been recorded at Bilaspur and Chhachhrauli; 11 cm at Pataudi; 10 cm each at Naraingarh, Ballabgarh and Taoru; 9 cm at Hodal and 8 cm at Mustafabad and Punhana.Similarly, 7 cm at Farukhnagar; 6 cm each at Faridabad, Gurgaon and Bahadurgarh; 5 cm each at Hathin, Sonepat, Kharkoda, Sadhaura, Chandigarh, Faridabad, Indri; 4 cm each at Kurukshetra, Jagadhari, Guhla, Chhansa, Nuh, Panchkula and Morni; 3 cm each at Khol, Gurgaon, Mandkhola,  Radaur, Shahabad, Palwal, Chandigarh Barara, Hassanpur, Bawal, Panchkula, Kalka and Ambala; 2 cm each at Mewat Nuh, Jhajjar, Nilokheri, Karnal, Dujana, Bawal, Nilokheri, Pehowa, Gharaunda and Barwala and 1 cm each at Raipur Rani, Kaithal, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Ambala, Sohana, Karnal, Meham, Karnal, Ganaur, Kalanaur, Dadri and Beri. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
