Ghaiziabad, July 9, 2015: Crisis come uninvited so one needs to prepare for it well in advance to better cope with the consequences of the same. To deal with one such condition, there was a Fire Safety Drill conducted by Uttar Pradesh Fire Service at Columbia Asia Hospital – Ghaziabad on Monday.
A team of 8 people along with a fire brigade, led by Fire Safety Officer Shri Arun Kumar Singh, took a theoretical class followed by a practical mock drill of the fire safety system. The training was attended by over 200 people including doctors, nurses, support staff and the management team. The employees were also trained on how to handle fire equipment. The Fire Safety team also inspected the fire safety system of Columbia Asia Hospital – Ghaziabad, and it was found intact.
Leading the show from Columbia Asia Hospital Ghaziabad’s side were Mr. Gaurav Khurana (General Manager-CAHG), Mr. Shiva (GM-Facility, CAH), and Mr. Siddeswara Gowda (Regional Security Manager, CAH). , training was well conceived by the team and could see lively demonstration by the staff as well.
