New Delhi / Jalandhar, April 18, 2013: Reports have been published in a newspaper today alleging that CBI’s Press Note was sent to PMO 12 hours prior to release to media.
This news item is completely false and misleading. No press release of the CBI was vetted by any person outside the Bureau.
It is further clarified that no such press release was either prepared or sent on 15th April, 2013 to PMO or PIB as alleged in the news item, the CBI release from Delhi said.
