Chandigarh, July 5, 2015: As many as 12 missing children have been traced by the special team of Haryana Police constituted in district Panchkula under ‘Operation Muskaan’.
While giving this information today, a spokesman of the Police Department said that following the directions of the Central Government, Operation Muskaan is being run from July 1 to 31 to trace and rescue missing children in the state.
He said that the team has traced these children from various places in Panchkula including three children from sectors 5, 4,Chandi Mandir Police Station Area, two from sector 20 Police Station Area and three from area of Pinjore Police Station. Out of the traced 12 children, 11 have been restored to their respective parents. The remaining one child, who is 12 years old and was traced from Nalagarh road, Pinjore, says that he hails from Bihar and does not know anyone here. The child has been sent to Bal Sadan, Sector 2, Panchkula.
