Ludhiana, June 6, 2015: “Don't reward Sikhs with Bullets they have already had enough”, said the BJP National Leader from Punjab, Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today while strongly condemning the clash of Jammu Police with the Sikh youths of Jammu.
Talking with the media at his office here, Grewal questioned Chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir Mufti Mohammad Sayeed regarding the steps taken against the policemen involved in the killing of Sikh youth.
Grewal labelled this as irresponsible and unprofessional behaviour on the part of Jammu and Kashmir Police. He said that he stayed at Srinagar in Kashmir Valley for a whole month prior to the elections and he worked day and night to garner confidence of Sikhs in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and this is how the State Machinery of their very own country rewards them back.
Grewal recommends the suspension of the police officials involved and the Chief Minister to personally visit the family of the slain Sikh youth. He said this incident has made mockery of the state machinery, a state where voters are rewarded with bullets.
