Tauni Devi (Hamirpur), May 17, 2015: As many as 1500 people attended a free mega health camp organized by Max Super Specialty Hospital (MSSH), Mohali at Civil Hospital, Tauni Devi in Hamirpur district today.
The camp was organized in association of Sarvhit Kalayankari Sansth(SKS) , the NGO. Mr Rajinder Rana, President of SKS and Vice Chairman of HP State Disaster Management Authority was also presented during occasion.
In camp the doctors team from MSSH including Dr, Mandeep Singh, Orthopedics, Dr Dinesh Joshi, Cardiologist, Dr Vinod Singh Sachdeva, General Physician and Dr Jobandeep Singh, Physiotherapis addressed the healthcare needs of people . MSSH staff also distributed free medicines to the people besides conducting free tests of BP, blood sugar , ECG and bone mass densitometry.
Speaking during occasion, Mr. Sandeep Dogra, Vice President-Operations, MSSH said that, MSSH was committed towards making specialized healthcare services accessible to all sections of society. Through this free medical camp, our endeavour was to address the health concerns of the people who were often neglected due to distance from a good healthcare facility or monetary constraints. In line with the Max Group philosophy of ‘Seva-bhav’, we have taken up the initiative to provide free consultation and medicines to the people at the camp . We were happy that this initiative would benefit area people, he asserted.
Dr. Jatinder Arora, Medical Superintendent, MSSH said that gguided by a single minded focus on medical and service excellence, MSSH has always worked towards delivering unwavering patient care. We felt that it was important for people to commit themselves to a healthier future comprising of a comprehensive health check-up on a regular basis. With this objective, our team of expert doctors has come together to counsel people for their cardiac, orthopaedic and bone related problems. Through this health camp, we hoped to extend our free services to maximum residents of Hamirpur and the neighbouring areas, he opined.
Meanwhile in past MSSH has conducted many similar camps for the less privileged in Mandi and Palampur.
