About 45 kilometers long four lane road to be constructed in border area of district Fatehabad

Chandigarh, May 16, 2015: Haryana Government is planning to implement a scheme of land records under which intkal would also get registered while getting the land registered and the land owner would also get its report instantly. Also, Jamabandis are being made online.
This was disclosed by Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management and Consolidation Departments, Dr. Dalip Singh in a meeting with officers of District Administration in the office of Deputy Commissioner, Fatehabad.
Dr. Singh also reviewed the distribution of compensation for damaged crops in the district and the mutations, intkals, registration and e-stamping and other ongoing works related to the National Highway  in the district. He said that the work of four laning from Hisar to Dabwali has started. About 45 kilometers long four lane road would be constructed in the border area of district Fatehabad. Land has been acquired for this purpose and about Rs 232 crores would be given as compensation. So far, Rs 195 crore has already been distributed among the farmers.
Dr. Singh said that the Government had ordered girdawari to assess the damage caused to crops of farmers due to recent hailstorms and unseasonal rains and provided compensation to farmers within 15 days. So far, about 92 per cent of the compensation has been distributed to farmers, he added./ (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
