Dharamsala, May 13, 2015: Anurag Singh Thakur, Member of Parliament shall flag-off SpiceJet’s additional flight between Dharamsala-Delhi at Gaggal airport of Dharamsala on May 15 . This was stated by the PRO SpicceJet Ajay Jasra here today. He said, “Sudhir Sharma, Urban Development Minister Himachal, who is also M.L.A Dharamsala & G S Bali Transport, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister Himachal will also grace the occasion as Special Guests .”
The official said that the Spice jet is already operating two flights daily to Dharamsala from Delhi and back . the first one takes off from Delhi at 11:30 am to reach Dharamsala at 12.55 pm and lifts back at 1:20 pm to touch Delhi at 2:45 pm , whereas the second flight starts from Delhi at 1.15 pm to reach Dharamsala at 2:35 pm and returns back at Delhi at 3:10 PM to reach there at 04:30 PM.
"With summer vacations approaching, we foresee excess demand for Dharamsala sector ,the abode of Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama. The introduction of the new flight will only help us to fullfill the increasing demand," company's chief operating officer Sanjiv Kapoor said in a statement.
The additional flight will continue till June 30.
