Haryana CM showers a bonanza on the people of Samalkha Assembly constituency

Chandigarh, May 10, 2015: Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal said that 13,000 police personnel would soon be recruited in the police department and a recruitment drive would also be launched by the  Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC)  for regular appointments in different departments of the state.

The Chief Minister was addressing a well attended ‘Pragati Rally’ at Samalkha in district Panipat here today. We have also invited big industries to set up their units in the State so as to generate more employment opportunities for the youth besides the development of the State, he added.

While showering a bonanza on the people of Samalkha Assembly constituency, Manohar Lal announced a slew of incentives which included Rs 10 crore for the construction of bypass on Nestle-Kiwana road, Rs 10 crore for the development of villages from Haryana Rural Development Fund (HRDF), Rs 6 crore for setting up of Power Sub Station, Rs 5 crore for Municipal Committee Samalkha for various development works, Rs 1.50 crore for the construction of two roads of Market Committee, Rs 75 lakh for drainage facilities in villages, Rs 30 lakh for the construction of Punjabi Dharamshala and a grant of Rs five lakh for the construction of Gaushala in village Machharoli.

He also announced that first   Gram Sachivalya  in district Panipat would be constructed in village Biholi at a cost of Rs one crore. He also announced that these Gram Sachivalyas would be set up in all six blocks of the district within next six months. For this he directed Deputy Commissioner Samir Pal Saro to prepare a plan soon. On the demand raised by the MLA Samalkha Ravinder Machhroli for the construction of bypass on Nestle-Kiwana road, the Chief Minister said that he would take up this matter with the Railways either to construct a pass under the railway line or over the railway line. Similarly, he said that he would write to National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to ensure that the bus coming from Chandigarh side to Delhi also makes convenient entry into Bus Stand Samalkha. The Chief Minister also announced that an ITI would also be set up in any village of Bapoli Block. Apart from this, Vyamshalas would be set up in ten villages of the constituency at a cost of Rs 2.50 crore each and land for the same would be given by gram panchayat concerned.

Striking a direct chord with the masses, he said that his government has just completed its six and a half month tenure. While taking the reign of the administration of the State we have made some promises including providing a transparent and graft free administration.  It is matter of pride that we have been successful in keeping a check on corruption. However, he said that it would take time to get the system on track which has been derailed during the previous regime.

He said that e-registration system has been implemented in all Tehsils of the State under which one could get the registry of property at his doorstep in just seven days on payment of prescribed fees. This system would not only ensure transparency in the Tehil works but also discourage the role of middlemen which is harbinger of corruption. To save time and resources of people, CM Window has been set up at each district headquarter where people could give their complaints. Apart from this, they could also lodge complaints on CM web Portal. With the start of these services, now the people need not  come to Chandigarh to submit their complaints, he added.

The Chief Minister said that with a view to ensure that the people need not visit government offices frequently to get their work done, he has launched 19 e-services on May 2, 2015. These services are available in each district. He said that the government has also identified 164 more services which would soon  be linked with e- services. Apart from the district level,  these services would be  extended to Sub Divisional Level, Block Level and Village Level so as to expend the scope of these services. He also said that Gram Sachivalyas would be set up in each village which would be equipped with computer and other facilities. With this, the villagers would be able to get their work done under one roof.

While referring to the recent untimely rain and hailstorm in different parts of the State which resulted in damage to crops, the Chief Minister said that rain hit some parts of the State in the month of March and thereafter it again lashes the State three times. Every time the government ordered a special girdawari to access the damage to crops. He said that girdawari was done in a record time and  loss was assessed on 13 lakh acres of land for which compensation amounting to Rs 1092 crore was being distributed by the government which is highest ever in the history of Haryana.  The work to distribute cheques of compensation would be completed by May 15, he further added. He said that apart from the compensation amount the State government has also announced a number of relief measures for the farmers which included waiving off electricity bill of one year as per damage  of crops, rescheduling of crop loans and next crop loan to farmers on zero per cent interest.

The Chief Minister said that the government has decided to set up 1000 vyayam shalas in the State  in the first phase to channelize the energy of youth For this, 10 villages would be taken up from each assembly constituency where vyayam shalas would be set up over 2 acres of land. While lauding the functioning of Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said that Narendra Modi’s Vision is to benefit the last person in the queue. He said that after Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna,  three more schemes namely Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna and Atal Pension Yojna has been launched at national level yesterday.

Speaking on this occasion, MLA Samhalka Ravinder Macchroli said that the Chief Minister Manohar Lal is the well wisher of all sections of society in the State.

MLAs namely K.L Pawar, Mahilpal Dhanda and Kiran Chopra wife of MP Ashwani Chopra  also spoke on this occasion.
