Chandigarh, May 8, 2015: Haryana Government has announced a hike of Rs.500 per employee for uniform allowance of State Transport employees for year 2015-16 thus benefiting about 16,500 employees to the tune of Rs.82.50 lakh per annum.
While stating this here today, Haryana Transport Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said that the Chief Minister, Manohar Lal has approved the proposal of the Department that the eligible employees would get Rs.1,350 per year for two summer uniform as against existing rate of Rs.1,000 earlier. Similarly, they would get Rs.1,450 instead of Rs.1,000 for one winter uniform once in a period of three years.
He said that State Government has approved payment of pending uniform allowance in cash on the existing rates. / (SK Vyas, jalandhar)
