No Petrol Pumps Dealers agitation all over India on April 11 - Grewal

Ludhiana, April 11, 2015: No Petrol Pumps Dealers agitation all over India on April 11, said the National Secretary of Federation of All India Petroleum Traders Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal in a statement issued here late last evening. He added that from 1952, FAIPT, OMC and Oil Ministry has maintained a cordial and healthy relation. 
Grewal told that due to confidence on us dealers OMC and Oil Ministry having been taking decisions in our favour. He said that Oil Ministry and OMC have always very patiently listened to our problems and suggestions and are willing to accept and implement them in due course of time. 
Grewal said that on demand and insistence of FAIPT only, Apruva Chandra Committee was formed that is in favour of dealers and FAIPT is making an immense effort to this report implemented. 
He said that a new Government is formed in our country with a new and improved agenda to work for the welfare of its citizens. He said that as a citizen of this nation it is our humble duty and responsibility to work with the Government and maintain a peaceful, healthy and growing environment in the nation. 
Grewal said we all are the building blocks of this nation. He said that we are the hands of Oil Ministry and OMCs who have to contribute to the growth and the progress of this nation by working on coordination. 
Adding, he said our actions will justify our intentions. He said that good actions will result in better result and wrong actions will certainly lead to bad implications. 
Grewal told that with the efforts of FAIPT, Cabinet Minister, Petroleum and Natural gas Government of India Dharmendra Pradhan on Diwali increased dealer commission. He said that on 20th March 2015 meeting, Oil Ministry High ranking officials considered all our demands very seriously and are more than willing to implement them in due course of time. 
He said that FAIPT has been constantly working for the welfare of its fellow dealers. He said that any agitation would certainly hamper the progress made towards the welfare of dealers and our cordial and healthy relation with the OMCs and Oil Ministry. 
Grewal said that on behalf of FAIPT and our President Ashok Badhwar it's our humble request to all the fellow dealers not to agitate against the OMCs and Oil Ministry. He said that our demands and complaints have been forwarded to them and these will certainly be implemented and accepted in due course of time.
