New Delhi, April 7, 2013 : Pranab Mukherjee, President of India presents President’s Police Medal to Rajinder Kumar Gaur, Inspector of Police and Press Information Officer, CBI ,New Delhi on the occasion of inauguration of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of CBI on April 6 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The said President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service was announced on the occasion of Independence Day, 2012.
Gaur, a resident of Village Jharsa in District Gurgaon.
R.K. Gaur is a Post Graduate in Sociology and Post Graduate Diploma in Personal Management, Labour Laws and Administrative Law. He graduated from Government College, Gurgaon.

Gaur, a soft-spoken police officer maintains excellent rapport with journalists.
Earlier, R. K. Gaur was also awarded with Police Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion of Republic Day, 2005 by the President of India.
