Dharamsala, January 5, 2013: Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh met Kamal Nath, Union Minister for Urban Development at New Delhi today.
Sudhir Sharma, Himachal Urban Development Minister also accompanied the Chief Minister.
Detailed discussions were held for approval of “Shimla Mono Rail Project” worth about Rs. 5,000 crore.
This project would be the first of its kind in a hilly State.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has been asked to carry out detailed survey and prepare Feasibility Report within six months.
Kamal Nath assured the Chief Minister of full support to the state in sanctioning of this ambitious project
