Solid Waste Management Plants would be set up across Haryana: Khattar

New Delhi, January 12, 2015: Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal  Khattar today said that Solid Waste Management Plants would be set up across the State to take forward the ‘Swachh Haryana-Swasth Haryana Abhiyan’.  He announced to give Rs 20 crore for setting up a plant in district Jhajjar as a first initiative.
He was addressing audience at a state level function organised on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti at village Hasanpur, district Jhajjar.
The Chief Minister urged the youth folfs to pay special attention towards schemes and programmes of rural development so as to realise the slogan of zero tolerance towards corruption and weed out  these practices from top to bottom, he assured that none of his ministers would indulge in such practices and officers and employees should be aware of it.  
Greeting people on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, Manohar Lal said that Swami Vivekananda had, in a very short age, become an inspiration for youth not only in India, but in the entire world especially in Europe and America.
He said that corruption free environment could be provided to people only with the support of 2.5 crore population of the state. The youth present on the occasion assured the Chief Minister their full cooperation in this endeavour by raising their hands.
Urging the youth to stay away from drugs and intoxicants, the Chief Minister said that good moral values, health and education are necessary for keeping body, heart and brain pure. Infusing enthusiasm among youth, he said that they should take pledge to educate at least one child.
Presiding over the function, the Agriculture Minister, O.P. Dhankar said that this programme would be significant for participation of youth in development of villages. He said that there would be a target to inspire ten youth from one village each to join this programme.  Dhankar assured the Chief Minister that next year this programme would be organized with participation of at least one lakh youth. Soon, one week training would be given to them who have joined this program-me so as to provide them information regarding schemes of rural development.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Cooperation, Bikram Singh Yadav said that the aim of rural development could not be achieved fully until the youth living in villages participate in it actively. The active and full participation of youth would automatically put a complete check on corruption, he added.
