New Delhi, December 16, 2014: India’s leading e-governance services network, AISECT has partnered with the Government of Rajasthan’s e-Mitra Project implementing agency, RajCOMP Info Services Limited (RISL) to come up with 114 e-Mitra kiosks in the state within six months. AISECT has taken the responsibility of setting up the kiosks in 5 districts of Rajasthan namely Jaipur, Tonk, Kota, Sikar and Bhilwara.

E-Mitra is an ambitious e-governance initiative by the Government of Rajasthan to ensure convenience and transparency to the people in the state so that they can avail various services of the Government and Private Sectors at their doorsteps using an e-platform. In addition to the services available on e-Mitra portal, AISECT will also deliver services like Bhamashah Services, Data up dation& enrolment, card printing & lamination, banking services, Aadhar enrolment, Business Correspondent (BC) services and various digitization/scanning work that are approved by Government of Rajasthan.

Commenting on this partnership extension, Abhishek Pandit, the Director of AISECT’s Business Servicessaid, “Through our various initiatives, we at AISECT have alreadybrought a massive change in the way services and banking works in semi-urban and rural India. Here in Rajasthan, people staying in remote areas have a very limited exposure to hassle-free services. We are glad to team up with Rajasthan Government for making life simpler for their citizens by providing G2C services in a transparent and accountable manner, close to their home at reasonable costs. Under this partnership we will setup, train and deploy each new e-kiosk, wherein we will strictly verify the selection process of potential kiosk holders.”

Since the last three decades AISECT, which is headquartered in Bhopal, has successfully empowered people in the remotest corners of India through its strategic innovations in the areas of e-governance, vocational education, higher education, multimedia solutions for K-12 schools, financial inclusion, rural recruitment solutions and Government development projects. The organization’s initiatives under the e-Mitra Project will not be AISECT’s first venture in Rajasthan. Over the years, the organisation has been working tirelessly for the state of Rajasthan and has empowered many people in semi-urban and rural areas of the state. Currently, there are over 150 AISECT Centres in Rajasthan which offer skills and ICT based vocational training apart from numerous B2C, B2B and G2C services. Recently, AISECT signed a MoU with Rajasthan Minorities Finance and Development Cooperative Corporation (RMFDCC) to ensure skill development and livelihood opportunities for the minority communities. Under financial inclusion scheme, the organisation is providing banking and financial services to the state’s unbanked population.
