The Central Cottage Industries Corporation (CCIE) a PSU under Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India with its flag ship showroom at 144, M.G.Road, and satellite showroom at HSR BDA Commercial Complex, Bengaluru is organising “Cottage Mela” an exhibition cum sale of exclusive Handicraft and Handloom from across the country at Jnana Mandira, Ganapathi Seva Samithi KHB Colony, 5th Block, Koramangala, Bengaluru from 12th December to 21st December.

Cottage Mela provides a platform for the artisans who are national and state awardees from various parts of culturally enriched regions of the country to exchange creativities of their art with the lovers of art and artifacts, CCIE has earned worldwide reputation as a unique place for marketing of Indian handicrafts and handlooms over the years, it has brought to various craft a series of new designs combining tradition and utility with the latest trends and tastes said S. The collection and display encompasses finest range of exquisite Jewellery, Jaipur prints dress fabrics, bedspread and quilts from Jaipur, Kolkatta hand embroidered Sarees, table linen & bedspread, Shawls and stoles from Kashmir, Orissa paintings, Madhubani paintings from Bihar, Carvings in wood from Tamil Nadu along with exquisite Cottage Furniture both corded, oriental and dhokra brass craft from Delhi to name a few
