Jalandhar, March 7, 2013: The Central Bureau of Investigation has today registered four cases relating to alleged murder of three persons, including Ziaul Haque, Deputy Superintendent of Police of Uttar Pradesh and two other persons, namely Nanhe Yadav and his brother Suresh Yadav, both of District Pratapgarh (UP) in separate incidents on March 2 this year on the request of UP Government and after Notification by Government of India.
The first of these cases relates to the alleged murder of Nanhe Yadav, Pradhan in District Pratapgarh in which four persons have been named as accused. The second case relates to the alleged murder of DSP in which ten persons have been named as accused. The third case relates to the alleged murder of Suresh Yadav, brother of Nanhe Yadav in which four persons have been named as accused. The fourth case has been registered on the complaint of the wife of the late DSP in which five persons have been named as accused.
CBI has taken up the investigation of these cases which were earlier registered by Uttar Pradesh Police.
A team has left for Uttar Pradesh today.
