Jalandhar, June 13, 2014: Air Commodore PK Vohra assumed the command of Air Force Station Halwara as Air Officer Commanding from Air Commodore RGK Kapoor on Friday. A formal change of command ceremony was held at the base in consonance with service tradition and ethos.
Air Commodore PK Vohra was commissioned in Indian Air Force (IAF) as fighter pilot in Dec 1987. He is an NDA alumni and a post graduate from distinguished institute of DSSC Wellington. During his long illustrious career with Indian Air Force, the Officer held many important staff and command appointments. He has vast experience of flying various aircrafts. He has been Chief Operations Officer of a premier fighter base. Prior to taking over command of Air Force Station Halwara, he held a Director’s appointment at Air Headquarters.
