Ludhiana, February 24, 2013: VishwaHindu Parishad(VHP) president Praveen Togadia has said BJP should not indulge into any kind of controversy on the issue of the party’s candidate for the post of prime minister.

Togadia added rather, the party should come into the power after getting united. He said the issue of the prime ministerial candidate was secondary one, getting power was the primary thing.

He was addressing `Dharm Raksha Nidhi Sammelan’ here on Sunday.

Adding, he said the Prime Minister should be a person who could build Ram Mandir, provide employment to the Hindus and eradicate terrorism across the country.

Further, Togadia said no political party should do politics on the name of terrorism. Rather, all the political parties should get united on the issue, so that terrorism could be wiped out, otherwise, people of the country would come on the roads.

He said Shree Ram Setu  was a religious heritage of India, which should not be dismantled at any cost.

On the issue of Pakistan, he said India should not keep any relation with Pakistan, adding even there was no need to continue relations as far as cricket and Sanjhauta Express were concerned.

He said Pakistan should be considered as an “enemy”.
