New Delhi, May 7 (IANS) Three species of birds and three langurs have joined the Delhi zoo, an official said.
"A male and two female langurs, a golden pheasant, a black pheasant and a grey partridge have been shifted from the Darjeeling zoo," National Zoological Park curator R.A. Khan told IANS.
Earlier, four black swans and three owls were brought here from the Thiruvananthapuram zoo.
In March, two ostriches became a part of the Delhi zoo.
The Delhi zoo shelters 1,556 varieties of bird and animal species.
