New Delhi, April 7, 2014: The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested two accused persons, both residents of District Rampur (Uttar Pradesh) for allegedly possession of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) having face value of Rs.3 lakh (approx). The seized FICN were in the denomination of Rs.1000.
A case was registered U/s 120-B r/w Section 489-B, 489-C of IPC on the allegations of trafficking FICN from Malda area (West Bengal) to Uttar Pradesh.
Both the arrested accused are being produced today in the Designated Court at Ghaziabad (UP).
